How It WorksQ: What is the purpose of having these grades?A: The simple explanation: As the assignments are optional, we need a way to encourage you to submit assignments and critique other members' submissions. Plus, it adds a little more fun!
Q: How do I move to the next year?A: You receive points for participating in club activities. The points are awarded as follows:

Completing assignment - 5 points

Critiquing submission - 2 points

Creating lesson plan - 10 points

Contests - Club contests will have points awarded for both entries and winners. Each contest will be different though, so you'll have to see the contest journal for more details!
Q: How many points do I need to advance to the next year?A: You need a certain amount of points to advance to each year. These points are accumulative. (example: To advance from second year to third year, you only need another 20 points, not 30. In other words, you keep your points from year to year)

First Year - 0 points

Second Year - 10 points

Third Year - 25 points

Fourth Year - 40 points

Fifth Year - 60 points

Sixth Year - 80 points

Seventh Year - 110 points

Grad - 150 points
It may seem like a lot, but it'll go pretty quickly I think, especially when you take into account bonus points for contests and other miscellaneous events.
Q: Do we get anything for going up a year?A: Well, you get the satisfaction of knowing that your hard work is paying off...no? Not doing it for ya?
Ok, I guess we should put up some extra incentive for you guys. Here's what we've got so far:

First Year - Nothing for freshmen, sorry!

Second Year

Third Year

Fourth Year - Once you reach fourth year, you are allowed to submit lesson plans of your very own design!

Fifth Year

Sixth Year

Seventh Year - Upon reaching seventh year, you can choose one of your deviations from your own gallery, and we will feature it in the homeroom journal!

Grad - Massive feature and writeup in the homeroom journal!
That's about all we've got for now. If anybody thinks of any other ideas, drop a note or comment in this journal!
